Emotions

A powerful tool that can work for or against an individual. A man who is in control of his emotions is a good actor. A poker player needs to be in control of his emotions, a single twitch could give him away. A tennis player should always be in control of his emotions, otherwise, he could keep on repeating the same mistake over and over again…hence, a wrong move is called “fault”. As leaders, we are to control our emotions even when we are close to an emotional outburst. We should learn to appear in control even under the worst scenarios.

But there is someone who is willing to listen to us when our emotions are about to burst. We can run to God and pour our hearts out. He is safe, and does not tell your secret outbursts to anyone.

Take heart. Take control of your emotions but bring it to God.
