My thoughts on the impeachment trial

Posted: May 29, 2012 in Uncategorized

Finally. It’s over.

The waiting, the suspense, the tears shed, the triumph of the prosecution, the downfall of the defense, the drama, the humiliation, the degradation….it’s over.

What’s next? We would ask.

We should look for lessons in each story.

One. We should live a holy life. Blameless. One cannot be in public office if he is hiding something.

Two. A public office is a public trust. Once that trust is broken, one must resign instead of fighting on.

Three. Ministry and public office is similar. We are called to serve. If we disqualify ourselves, then it’s over for us.

It’s just my thoughts. you may disagree…but then, each man has to face God in the end.
