Only a fool would say…

The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”
Psalm 14:1

We all worship a god. If it is not The True God, we worship the false god. For worship means giving something worth, or anything that takes up so much time and needs attention. We can worship the god we call “work”. Make our boss(es) a god in a sense that we sacrifice family, time and everything else to please him (or them). We can worship the god we call “pleasure”, and be so engrossed in chasing for whatever is new, whatever feels good, try to chase whatever taste good. We, are after all, sensual beings. We can worship the god called “relationship”, and put our boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife/father/mother/best friend in the center of our lives. Even our disciple can be our god, in a sense, that they can eat so much of our time. We can worship the god we call “ministry”, and in the guise of doing good, we tend to be so focused on the needs of others, that we forget why we are doing ministry in the first place.
Really…only a fool would say “There is no God”.
