Bikeuphemism

Posted: September 9, 2014 in thought to ponder

I used to ride a bike, until it got stolen. But while it was with me, I came up with euphemism which can be applicable in life. What is a euphemism? According to the dictionary…

Euphemism:  the substitution of an agreeable or inoffensive expression for one that may offend or suggest something unpleasant; also :  the expression so substituted

So here’s ten of them…

1. always check your gear before biking.
2. wear a helmet.
3. brakes are important.
4. it’s better to travel in a team than bike alone.
5. don’t be afraid to learn new things.
6. take the time to look at the scenery not just the trail.
7. watch out for rocks and ditches.
8. enjoy the ride!
9. falling is part of the experience.
10. The journey starts with a single pedal.
