Proclaim

I have not hidden your deliverance within my heart;
I have spoken of your faithfulness and your salvation;
I have not concealed your steadfast love and your faithfulness from the great congregation.
Psalm 40:10

When the Lord has done something in your life, a Christian can’t help but to respond in worship. We can’t help but tell others what God has done.

I think there are just a lot of times that men would not want to speak up because it might be misunderstood as bragging, but the psalmist was clear that he spoke of deliverance, of the steadfast love and faithfulness of God.

He did not hide or conceal it. But instead, spoke of it in the congregation.

This can be our testimony. This can be an instrument of bringing people to Christ. For we can speak of God’s faithfulness, day by day. Though at times, we don’t understand why our prayers are not answered yet, but God is faithful. All we need to do is trust Him.

We can proclaim of what God has done for indeed, it is the finished work of Christ that we can count on, day by day.

Tell the congregation what He has done. Share your testimony of how God rescued you today. Speak of His love and His faithfulness.

It’s not just positive thinking, it is encouraging others that our God is alive.
