Grades for the Lord

Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.”

As students, we don’t just study to get a good grade, like getting an average of 1.5 or an average of 95 or 93. We are in school because this is where God planted us. The school is our mission field. And everything that relates to being a student like doing your project, studying for a long exam, or just being early in school are all part of the work we are supposed to do. And I sometimes forget to work with all my heart for the Lord because I’m too focused on the level of difficulty and sometimes question myself ‘why am I in school’ which I sometimes refer to as the epitome of hell.

But whatever it is that you are doing, think of it as something that God wants you to do for YOUR benefit. We might not see the reward any time now, but soon. And that’s for sure.
