Romans 13:6-7
This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

These verses tells us about the sovereignty of God. The preceding verses tells us about submission to governing authorities. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Most of us don’t pay taxes yet, but it will be hard for us to pay taxes in the future especially with what’s happening right now in our country. The Scripture says that if we owe taxes, then we should pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.
