The Royal Wedding

So much brouhaha on the wedding of Dingdong and Marian. I have heard stories from the negative side and those who look at it with an optimist view. The wedding was dubbed a “royal wedding” in which the two sides could argue forever and ever if it was something worth remembering or forgetting. I have been watching weddings and really, the important part is the bride and the groom, not the wedding dress, nor the food, or the videos. There is one wedding I’m looking forward to. It’s the marriage supper of the lamb.

In that day, the groom (Christ) is coming to take away his bride (the church). In that day, we, the guests of that wedding (the believers) will be joining a marriage supper, a feasting that will be the greatest feasting of all time. In that day, only those who are invited to the feast will really enjoy it. Those who are not invited? Well, just like any other weddings, there are those who would think negatively but in this case, they would be bitter forever.

Indeed, the angel was correct when John wrote down…

Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb. (Rev. 19:9)
